Looing for a new Subwoofer and need help

Hello everyone... I'm in the market for a new subwoofer and I'm seriously considering HSU as I've heard nothing but good things about them. I'm coming from an older Definitive Powerfield 1500 sub that has treated me extremely well for the last 10 or so years. It's a sealed 15" sub with an amp wih about 200 - 300 watts (I forget the rating). I'm looking at the VTF-15H, the VTF-3 MK3 or the ULS-15, so I'm curious as to your thoughts, recommendations, etc. My room is approx 19' 6" x 18' 10" with an 8' ceiling, wall to wal carpeting over a wooden floor. System is used mainly for movies. If you need any additional info please let me know...

Is cost a deciding factor? Or can you afford any one of them? Also would you be looking for the sub that takes up less space?

I currently have enought in my budget for any one of them and size isn't an option for me as I'm coming for a rather large 15" sealed sub. Any other questions just let me know... thanks for your time...

If you like the sound of a sealed sub go with the ULS 15 , although you might want to go with 2 of them for that size room. I would just go for one VTF 15 and if you feel you need another one down the road get it. Remember you can seal the ports on the VTF 15.

I say VTF-15H, because you can run it sealed or ported. That way you can experiment with what sounds best to you and you're not locked into a sealed or ported sub. If you go ULS your locked into sealed, and if you go VTF3 MK3 you're locked into ported.
