My living room remodel is nearing completion and its time to buy Subwoofer(s). Sorry my sketch is so busy but I've been using it for advice along the way. My rack consists of Onkyo 705, Emotiva LPA-1, Monster Speaker selectors to switch Left, Right, and Center from the LCD to the Projector set ups. Mostly Blue Jean cables with a couple monoprice items thrown in. PS3 all protected by Tripplite I am considering the VTF-3 MK3 combo as shown in my sketch. I am a new member although I have been a lurker. I know I would be better off trying the MBM-12 behind or to side of sectional based on past advise I've read on this site, unfortunately baseboard heating and space issues prevent that. Do you think my proposed locations would be OK? Would the combo be too much for my mid level Polk in-walls? Would you recommend turbo for room size? Any and all sub advise is welcomed I'm getting antsy to buy and want to make the right decision.

I think you are a good candidate for the 3.3 + MBM-12 package. They should not be "too much" for your in-wall speakers. MBM-12 at that location should work just fine. I think Turbo has more to do with increased clean output in the bottom octave, especially around 16Hz, than it does with room size. If you purchase the Turbo at the same time as the combo, it is a rather inexpensive way of adding to the bottom octave.
