Hi guys,
Recently I made some changes in the location of my VTF3 MK3, and I took advantage of Leo recommendations who works at HSU Research, and I got the knowledge to distinguish the difference between nearfield vs farefield sub position. Actually, I have HB's system with HC combined with a 3.3 w/turbo sub. Initially I put it at the side of the sofa (listening position) without the turbo. I listened well, high impact but it was easy to locate and thats the reason why I didn't liked. I send my case to Leo so he could of give me any suggestions and told me to put it in front on the left side without the Turbo. The recommendation that I used without the Turbo is because I wanted greater impact on the mid freq. I put it in to the front and ta-daaaa ... it heard super well. It was difficult to locate it, had enough impact but not as much as when it was nearest . I wish to find the way of get it close to feel the mid freq impact, and be difficult to locate it and he suggested me that if I put it behind the back of the sofa with the driver looking back of the sofa with the turbo, I get what I wanted. At the beginning I wasnt convinced with that theory but anyway I try it. People, the only thing that I can say is that this setup it's INSANE:eek:...you couldnt locate it, high mid punch and everything vibrate it. It's the best setup that I had tested and which I recommend it. Thanks to Leo for giving me suggestions and make the best setup of the 3.3 with Turbo.
