I know!
I want to see how it compares to a VTF3.

I really don't care about this comparison. What does the 12 inch subwoofer design from HSU have to prove ? Nothing !...:D
Looking forward to hearing what you find...
A couple of days make a big difference...

By the way, we only have another few weeks worth of STF-3s in maximum extension. If you want a chance to get a STF-3 that plays deeper than specified, now is the chance.

Well, I don't know what the STF3 in max output sounds like but I wouldn't trade mine back. The sucker plays plenty loud and its barely "on". Knowing that its going 5 Hz lower (right?) is just icing on the cake!

Tell me about it. I feel like maybe I bought too big of a sub. It sits barely off of zero. I have all of this potential and I'm not using very much of it!:D
Does it matter which port you put the plug in???

I would just leave the plug alone as it came to you. Don't monkey around with it. :)

They forgot to put the plug in and had to send it to me in the mail. I don't plan to mess with it once I get it set up correctly. :)

Not sure it matters which one. Here is a pic of mine and it came with the plug.

How did you even know it needed a plug? It wasn't suposed to have it in in the first place.

Thanks sputnik!
I like to read the boards here so that's how I found out.

One of the Hsu folks, Sasha I think, posted a while back that it didn't make any difference, at least for the VTF.

3rd picture - looks like the right side is plugged.

Reading around... apparently it doesn't matter. I plugged the right side since that is the one that's plugged in the pic. Thanks for all of the replies.

Hopefully its no big deal -- mine came with the plug in the Left side! Sounds great as is, so I'm not going to mess with it unless I hear a compelling reason to switch.
