I just ordered a STF-2, and intend to put it in the living room wih marble flooring. May i check does it come with spikes or rubber feet? Is it ok to put coins under the spikes if I don't want the spikes to poke holes onto the floor? I do not have a rug or feasible for me to put one due to space and wife constraints.

Cut a piece of carpet the same size as the sub and put it under it. I did just that and spray painted it black to match the sub. You can do that to match the marble. These subs are designed to work on carpet as on a hard surface it will sound to "boomy".

I'd use an Auralex "Subdude" under the subwoofer:

They actually work quite well at de-coupling the subwoofer from the room.
I use them under my VTF-3 HO's and MBM-12.
