Speaker upgrade..

So, I'm allocating $800-$1000 to upgrade the sound in my HT system.

Right now I have Ventriloquist VT-12s and a VTF-2 mk2 hooked up through a HK AVR445. My system is used almost exclusively to watch movies. The room setup is here (http://forum.hsuresearch.com/showpost.php?p=29249&postcount=48). I'd like a little more impact to the system.

I'm considering getting a pair of HB-1s and an HC-1 for the fronts and a VTF-2 mk3 and running both the subs in parallel.

Any suggestions?

What are you going to do about the rear speakers?

I probably nothing special, maybe move two of the front speakers from the VT-12 to the side, get a 7.1 setup going. I may do something at a later time.
