VTF-3 Amplifier Upgrades

I have an interest in purchasing the VTF-3 SUB. However, on other forums I have been reading threads where some owners have been sending in the units for upgrades to beef-up the power amplifier.

The question is: If I purchased a new VTF-3, would my unit have the upgrades as noted above ??

The upgrades only apply to earlier VTF-3s. It has been many, many months now that we have been shipping VTF-3s with the upgrades. The new amps were shipping in August of 2002. Some dealers may still have an old version though. If you are not sure and are buying from a dealer, call us up and give us the serial number. That number can be found on the box or on the back of the unit. We can tell you if it is the new or old version of the amp.
