In my 6.1 system, I currently have a rear surround that only goes to 150hz. What happens in the range below that when using my VTF-2? Also, is it important to get a speaker that matches my front center channel? It's 27lbs and something like 26 1/2 x 10 x 9. The satellite is timbre matched but is quite a bit smaller than the other 5 speakers.
Thanks!

There will be a gap between 150 Hz and the point where your subwoofer crossover setting is. However, because rear surrounds are not used often, and when it is used it reproduces sound effects, this gap is not critical and will not hamper your enjoyment of the movie.
This gap is much more important to be eliminated in the front channels, where most of the action in the movie happens. Having very small FRONT left and right satellites can cause a problem. Try to get the front satellites better that go down to 80 Hz. They might need to be bigger than your current ones. Our Ventriloquist system addresses this issue directly, while still allowing you to have small left and right front satellites.

Thanks Sasha, My front left and right go to about 80hz and the center channel goes to about 50hz. I just wasn't sure about how important the back surround was.
