Has anyone tried to remove the HSU logo on the front of the STF-2?

Is it just tacked on with glue? Easy to remove?

Does it look that bad?

Usually a hair dryer will loosen the glue, then just run some fishing line, dental floss etc behind the logo, and it should come right off. Proceed with caution though. I have never tried it on a sub - usually this is for getting logos off of cars.

I don't think the logo is bad.

I had the VTF and the logo is very comparable to my new STF. I mean it doesn't light up but it is a clean neat design.

I simply ripped the logo off. No problem. It makes the sub look cheap.

I agree with you, and it's not just the HSU product, I just don't like logos on speakers.

I have successfully removed them from Axiom QS-8 sourrounds, and an Energy sub. I run Totem monitors on the front which never had any logos, or grills.

I like the clean look of the all-black setup. My living room looks like a classy living room, not a Best-Buy store! (and it sounds GREAT!).

Can't wait to integrate an STF-2 (replacing an Energy xls-10)

Interesting that you don't like logos. I even ripped off the logos on my car. Pontiac doesn't pay me to advertise their company, so why should I promote their product by driving all around town with their name on my car?
