Newbie here....

I have a room that is 13 x 26 x 8 Feet. I am almost ready to install the components to make this room a HT (13x13) and the rest a little table area with a wetbar (in the back 13 feet). There is an opening to another room that is 3.5 feet wide and opens up to a small foyer that is approx 10x10x8.

I have already installed Speakercraft in-wall speakers:
AIM LCR3 Three - Left, Center, Right
AIM Cinema Dipole One - Side Surround
AIM5 One (Ceiling) - Rear Surround

These are basically 80 watt speakers

I plan to power this set-up with the new Onkyo SR 606. Blue Ray will be the Panasonic BD30. TV will be a Panasonic 58" Plasma (either the 700 or 750)

Assuming I ignore the other room, the VTF-1 should be more than enough to power the room. Based on what I read, I will most definately want to use the extended mode exclusively.

Are my assumptions correct?

im not sure if the vtf-1 will be enough for that space. The VTF2-MK3 may better serve your needs. Even though the listening area you need to account for the overall room volume. So the vtf1 may not be able to fill the room enough with bass. If money isn't an issue go with the VTF2-MK3 for sure.
