I had a cancelation going on between my two MBM-12's. Set them up with the meter at 76 spl and when metering them together, I got 72. Can't really play with phase (0 to 180) as I use the Anti Mode 8033B. So I changed one MBM to "in" on the crossover and the other MBM to "out". It got rid of the cancelation and both metered at 79 to 81. Howcome this changed the cancelation problem?

what type of signal/tone were you feeding the MBM's when measuring? Only the MBM's were on? Co-located during the measurements? What happens when you set the crossover on both to out?

Using the receiver pink tone in the speaker menu and I set each MBM up seperatly with the spl meter. When I turned on both MBM's at the same time, this is when the cancellation happened. It occurs in either in or out for both. When set in on one, and out on the other, then no cancellaton and they went up 3+ on the spl meter. Go figure? Anyway, it works and thats all I wanted.
