Hi Serge,

There is support for five different operating modes (ported max output, ported max headroom, ported max extension, sealed max headroom, sealed max extension). That said, there are three different physical modes: 2 ports open, 1 port open, and Sealed. So in some sense, both sides are correct :)

Sincerely,

I understand Max output and Max extension but what does Max headroom give you? Compared to the other two modes what advantage does Max headroom give you?

Hi Andrew,

The ported max headroom mode is what we informally call "overdamped" mode on the other VTF subs (ie. one port plugged, and bass extension switch set to '2 port open' mode).

Sincerely,
