VT-12 Silver package

Has anyone posted a pic of the VT-12 in the Silver color? If not, could someone do so? I am curious what those look like before purchase.

Is that a dent on the top-front of your sub? Or is that a blotch on the photo?

Yes it's a dent. I was very sad to see it. For ME - this whole system plus my H/k 230 was a big step both in terms of audio quality and money. It was a hard sell to my wife also - but two "all in one" HT systems and months of repairs had prompted going for better, separate components. I saved for months, researched a lot - read many many forums and went with the VT12 and STF2 .... I was really really bummed to see the dent when I unpackeds everything on friday..

I contacted sales today. I have no idea what is done in a situation like this...

one advise - put a rug underneath the sub please.

Otherweise, enjoy the system.

Is the rug for sound quality or floor preservation? I was going to put little rubber feet under it..

Hsu recommends a rug under the sub for sound properties. Someone suggested placing a coin between the spikes and the rug to prevent the spikes from going through the rug and attacking the floor. Dr. Hsu suggested a hard object under the spikes might be something for the spikes to rattle against. I've put rubber furniture coasters between my -3R spikes and the rug.
