Bonjour à tous,

I have a pair of Totem Arros and I'd like to match these with a sub
as the bass on on the weak side (4.5 inches woofer so...).
I do not listen music at insane levels and I will never use the sub in a HT system. I just want the FASTEST / CLEANEST bass possible. Therefore, my questions are:

1) The Arros are extremely fast (and clean) speakers. As a small speaker is usually 'faster' (and cleaner) than a bigger one, should I go with the 10 inches VTF2 /STF2 instead of the 12 inches VTF3/STF3 re speed?

2) The VTF2 use an A/B amplifier, the SFT2 a bash amplifier. Which one is the cleanest for music (I do not care about the 50W difference)?

3) In a music only system, How would you compare the 2 series vs the 3 series (re clean & fast)?

Thanks for your help...GUY

Bonjour à tous,
I just want the FASTEST / CLEANEST bass possible.

I suggest one of our TN Series subwoofers. They are our most musical subwoofer. Yes, we sell many more box subwoofers, but the tubes still a little better. Their cabinet offers almost no coloration, and lets us use very long ports for deeper bass. Plus, there are many options for integrating them in almost any kind of musical system.

It is not only the size of the speaker, but also the weight of the cone, the Q of the driver, the cone's other physical characteristics, and many more factors. Our TN series still is the best sounding, even though it is bigger.

I would say they are equal. The BASH uses a class A/B output stage.

Both are equally detailed and 'fast'.
