I have a VTF2 which is excellent. A friend wants to install a subwoofer but is stumped by wiring issues. What are the prospects for a wireless VTF-1 or VTF-2?

There are already some wireless options already available for any subwoofer. Audioengine has a wireless adapter (http://audioengineusa.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=82) that you could use with a subwoofer. It was reviewed in the June edition of Affordable Audio (http://www.affordableaudio.org/AudioengineAW1.pdf).

You could also use a Buttkicker wireless transmitter (http://www.amazon.com/ButtKicker-BK-LINK-RF-Wireless-System/dp/B00080Q7M2/ref=pd_bbs_sr_5?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1216323138&sr=8-5) that is designed for bass frequencies. I happen to have a new one that I want to sell. It came with my Buttkicker kit.

av123 also plans to release a stand alone wireless kit that is probably similar to the Audioengine one.
