I just read the Stereotimes.com review of the TN 1220, and I'd like to congratulate Dr. Hsu & company on (yet another) glowing review. It confirmed what everyone who owns one already knows: for anything like a sane the price they are untouchable, and among the best when price isn't considered.

To anyone wanting to check it out, go to stereotimes.com- the Hsu review is on the top of the home page.

Rob,

Thanks for bringing that review to the forum! The review comes from a high-end audio perspective.

Here is a quote from the review's conclusion:

The bottom line is that $800 and change will get you a huge variety of mid-fi wannabe subs that just plain won't cut it in a system with high-end aspirations. But the Hsu Research TN 1220 is no ordinary sub: for a mid-fi price you can snag a high-end sub that has a 99% chance of being the finish line in your race for bass.

How come you guys don't post the TAS review of the TN sub. From that review, they thought the crossover was top notch and it integrated seamlessly with their Quads.

There is a web site around that has the full "TAS" Hsu review on it. Only drama is that it was a while ago and I did not bookmark it. Now I can not find it. The review is a super review by Paul Seydor, (TAS, #118) using some Quads. Well worth a read for those who missed it.
