Does anyone use a base? Tie it to the wall? Something else?

Here's one suggestion...

Thanks David; I had read that suggestion. Dr. Hsu emailed me that I might add a base, but other than the guy who placed his on a paving stone, I can't believe that no one else has done this or something similar. My only limitation is I have to have it standing up.

If one uses picture frame hooks, what kind of wire should be used so that the speaker isn't damaged?

Where is the piece of triangular piece of wood with a 12" circular cutout that was going to go between the driver and tube enclosure, where you could mount the spikes on it and have the sub's driver facing down? I thought that was in the drawing board as an option?

Sounds good. Where did you hear about that?
