Hey Oroville, I have two of em and I don't use them. Most of us that have big rooms find that the 3.3 with the turbo does not sound good so we use the max output mode. If you have a med to small room, then the turbo will be good for you.

I actually think the deep bass sounds great with the turbo, but the need is very rare, and in my setup, I also think there is a bit of sound quality difference...just a bit better with no turbo and both ports open. In my room, I don't give up that much deep bass without the turbo.

There isn't that much material that I listen to that requires the turbo. I would like to sell it and put the additional funds toward (2) MBM-12. Once again, nothing wrong with it. I just thought I'd give it a try. I tried it. Now i know it's not for me.

I've been wondering about that as well.. I've got a VTF-HO w/turbo. Deep low bass is insanely loud if I ever want it to be but I'm wondering if the overall sound quality would be better without out it.. Also if max extension or max output would be better when not using a turbo. SPL isn't going to be an issue regardless just want the best SQ.

What is the going rate for a used Turbo? Or if I sold the entire setup and went with a sealed box. What's the going rate for a VTF-HO w/Turbo? (San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley Peninsula to be more specific)
