Don't know if this is the right place to ask for help but a few years ago I setup 2 asw's for my car. I placed them in a sealed enclosure recommend to me on the forums with about 1.4 cu ft per sub.

My question is I am thinking of setting these up in a home theater and was wondering if they would work well or if I should try something else.

From what I have read I may want to change my enclosure for the drivers but i thought this would be the best place to ask.

any help would e appreciated

Hi physwm,

May I ask what are your room dimensions (HxWxD, including openings to other areas)? Do you have any particular enclosure size constraints when it comes to a subwoofer for in-home use? Would you be willing to construct a ported enclosure or rather just stick with a sealed box? Finally, how much amplifier power do you plan on using?

Thanks

Sincerely,

I don't have any constraints when it comes to enclosure size. I am currently still in the rental stage of my life, so I am moving from place to place. I would say my living room is usually abour 15 x15 with 9 foot ceilings. I would be fine contructing any sort of enclosure and hope to get a 1000w amp, probably only a class d if I can manage.
