 I don't know what you mean by" Handle"? But , "Frank Sinatra, Live at the Sands, With the Count Bassie Orchestra, DVD-A, Sounds Great! Not to mention, Tierney Sutton's " Dancing in the Dark" Stereo CD! The Clarity is Awesome! Like she performing "Live" in you Home! Now "Norah Jones, Live from New Orleans, Come Away with me", performance on DVD(Engineered by 5.1 productions) sounds like YOU ARE THERE @ The CLUB. So if that's what you mean? Then you will be in for a TREAT! NO Kidding or Exagerations here!
Like they say... Step up to Better Parts...Make the Move... and experience it for yourself... You won't be disapointed! PPD :)

What mode do you use to listen to music with the VT-12?
Also, do you listen to music with ventriloquist on or off?

Since music puts out more information in the rear channels, I just wanted to know if the rears on the VT-12 could "handle" it without getting distortion.
Thanks,

The only area where I think they might have problems is in the bass. In fact, this is a problem with many speakers for SACD and DVDA. Most receivers and surround sound processors don't do any bass management on the multichannel inputs used for such formats. To compensate for this, some players have implemented bass management to redirect the low frequencies, but they frequently don't do a very good job.
