Anxiously awaiting its arrival on Friday (according to FedEx). Meanwhile does anyone have any links to easy step-by-step guides for newbies on how to properly calibrate your surround sound system? I purchased a Radio Shack Sound Level meter yesterday, and am ready and raring to go. Previously, I had just relied on the YPAO (automatic level adjuster...I guess) on my Yamaha RX-V1400 to set all the levels for me. Now I actually want to do it manually to make sure...
BTW- I currently have an Athena Micra 6 system, it's all I could afford at the time, and I decided instead of scrapping the entire system, that I would just upgrade the sub and see how much better it can be. The highs aren't that bad, but the Micra 6 sub is definitely not strong enough for me (and my room).
