Gentlemen:

I have a pair of Fostex back-loaded horns (FE206ESR, in the Fostex-designed enclosure). I am driving them with a Transcendent SE OTL amp (1.5 lovely watts a side).

I would like to know about integrating an Hsu sub into this two channel, music only system.

I want a result that is super fast, transparent, tonally accurate and smooth.

I have a new room for this setup that is shaped like a "fat T", with total square footage around 850, and volume of 6,800 cubic feet.

I will not be playing music loud (by this board's standards, anyway) and my concern is just well integrated fidelity.

Can anyone kindly suggest their experiences with matching a system like this? I have looked at the new VTF15H, perhaps that would be a nice fit, and very tunable.

Thank you for any comments.

Hi Csic,

You have a large volume of space to fill, and need a powerful subwoofer to keep up with your main speakers too. The VTF-15H is a great choice for this space! It should integrate well, and will provide solid bass augmentation to your main speakers.

Sincerely,
