Having both the Vtf-2 and the Vtf-3 certainly keeps my house full of good vibes. The only real gripe I have about both units is the lack of a defeat switch for the auto on/off curcuit. Most decent subs have this signal detection defeat switch. Because as many of us hifi fanatics know, these auto curcuits may not ideally suit either the system or the type of music played.
My Vtf-2 (and now my Vtf-3) has timed out into the off position, before a strong enough bass note hit to awake it again. Now because my Vtf-2 is out of warranty I actually got a tech to do a mod on the amplifier to keep it powered on full time.
Or at least until I manually hit the subwoofers power switch. For me its better than it switching off mid listening to an album.
I hope you look at adding a simple on/off switch for defeating this auto detection only option.
