I heard about this somewhere but can't find the source. Supposed to minimize distortion. How would the 2 speakers be positioned? On the floor, driver to driver? Does one speaker have to be out of phase with the other? Can the two speakers be standing side by side be in a Push-Pull arrangement?
Please elaborate on this. Can you give some idea of the quantitative reduction of distortion and if there are any other benefits?
Thanks
Artie

Sasha & the gang must be busy for this to go unanswered so long. A year or os ago I asked Dr. Hsu about reconfiguring my pair of TN-1220s to push/pull. He told me it's not worth it: one type of distortion is minimized but another is increased.
Frankly I was almost relieved he told me not to bother as it seemed like a lot of tinkering for not much gain.

I don't think there will be an increase in any type of distortion. Maybe the odd ordered harmonics would be more prominent with the reduction of 2nd order ones.

Thanks for helping me put this issue to rest. From what I have heard more recently the 2 cylinders would have to be put end to end creating a long cylinder.

Thanks for responding to my question. I think your answer is spot on.
