Well it is coming up on my second anniversary of being with the Hsu Family.
The ULS-15 Dual Drive continues to impress me, family members and all visitors. It has got to be one of the best HT purchases I have ever made.

The only thing that has happen was one of the power plugs came out after a 3 hour demo that I had done for a friend. It probably came out after the pod emerging scene from WOTW on Bluray. Which was funny to me because I did not realize for a week that a power plug had come out. When I was doing some testing the following weekend I had turned off all of the subs but I left that one on and when I played test tones I did not hear anything from the sub that lost it's power cable. I freaked out, of course, until I realized what had happen. :o I have since played HTTYD, WOTW and of course the newest bass feast Tron:Legacy with no problems. They just keep rocking the house with excellent bass. Sure wish I could take advantage of the sale that is going on right now, but unfortunatly I still have other expenses that need attention.

So again, thanks HSU for creating such a fine subwoofer system.

Congrats on two years Al, how time flies! I agree that the ULS's are just a joy to listen to, and they look nice too. Glad to hear that they are holding up well with latest soundtracks such as Tron Legacy.

How was the bass on that movie anyway?

Thanks my friend

Sincerely,

Hi Al, it's always nice to hear of "no issues".

Pete,
Tron has some nice articulate bass. Enough that my wife commented on it, she loved the film for that alone. It's a pretty good demo disk imho.

Hello my friend, been meaning to call you, just been to busy. Tron:Legacy is a must add to your collection of demo material for your showroom. Once Sam Flynn joins the grid about 1/3 into the movie it is non-stop bass. Adding to the sound effects is the pounding soundtrack provided by Daft Punk. I have actually seen reviews where some ppl said it had too much bass, and they call themselves bass heads. They must not have the right equipment to enjoy the movie as it was intended. :D

I still need to find time to call you to talk about that recent review we touched on. Hope you have a great Easter weekend. :)

Hey Al, I did have the pleasure of hearing some audio tracks from Tron Legacy the other day. Daft Punk, very cool! Really good stuff, thanks for the recommendation. Hope you have a great Easter weekend too!

Sincerely,

I calibrate my speakers at 75db and my subs at 78db (sub trim at 0), playing this film at -30 on my avr there is still impact to be felt. Playing it at a higher a lvl -15 knocked my Alien Egg off my glass shelf. (it didn't break :-)).

Even at higher db lvls my dual 15H subs didn't lose any composure. I don't listen to ref levels but I did it's nice to know these subs handle it fine fashion (to my ears).
