I just hooked up my STF-2 and it sounds great - I can't wait to hear how good it gets after all the tweaking and breaking in takes place.
Here's my question. I have an Acurus ACT-3, which I love, even though it is the older version without the upgraded bass management. I have none of the other problems (hum/hiss) associated with the earlier version (mine was not one of the very early models).
Does anyone know if it would be worth finding an ABM upgrade kit? Right now I have all my speakers (Thiel SCS2s) set at "small". But I don't know what the ACT-3's built-in crossover is - or how I should adjust or set the STF-2 accordingly.
Any advice would be great! I am totally new to subwoofer life.
