I imagine that the ULS took itīs spot in the product list. They were so close in comparison, that most people would have went with the ULS over the HO anyway.

Yep, I think you are right.
I liked the idea of a 12" with XBL... I will miss it... jejej
Anyway, I think the 3.3 was the closest to it, because it had the same enclosure/floorspace, and cone area...
The 3.3 driver is so good that even without the use of any linear motor tech it was very very close to the HO... Excellent work there HSU!

Yes, I think the -3 HO will be discontinued. It was similar enough in enclosure size/port size/driver size to the -3 MK3 that most people just opted for the lower cost alternative. Still a great sub though!

crazy, I didn't see that coming, but can definitely understand the reasons.

Always a shame to see a great sub taken off the product list (i.e. Tn1220Ho). However we must remember it doesn't lessen its true performance/value. My old Tn1220 still holds its own with the latest ported sub offerings the bonus being a decade + of musical bliss.

Still not enough toys, eh? I have a premo set of Polk old school Monitor 10's coming today. I'll try them out as mains and maybe dump the JBL's. These babys are supposed to be the best even by today's standards.

So is the Turbo Charger discontinued as well?

Always pondering the idea of selling my HO w/Turbo and going with a sealed box, or keeping and getting an MBM one day.. I wonder if I'll miss the insane low frequency SPL this combo puts out.

I think that the turbocharger will still exist since the 3.3/2.3/3.2 also benefits from it...:D

ebay! They came today and look to be in good shape. I'll hook em up tonite and give them a workout. From the reviews on the Polk site, they are still the cats meow. Rockets! I thought maybe you'd go for the big boy, speaker array.

Hooked up the polk Monitor 10's and "my god" what a difference over my JBL E90's! These 10's are incredible. Changed the mains to large with the 10's and the mid bass (for music) was equal to the MBM's output. However the 10's were too boomy for the room and the MBM's have a bass EQ (Anti Mode 8033 on the sub cable) so they sound real good. Just to state that the 10's can output equal (for music) to a MBM setup but there isn't anyway to control the bass via an EQ. Anyway, I'm a happy man.

bsoko: grats on the polks, its always fun to find a nice deal on some used equipment. As for the rockets, the big rocket array deal going on now looked awesome, but I don't have the room for all that, I'm just looking for a 2 channel setup right now, so I went with just the big fronts. They seem to get awesome reviews. That and freight for all that would have been a ton, vs the 850s having free shipping.

ddavidson: lol@ the golden rule. I think I agree with you bahah

My dad has a pair of Polk Monitor 10's he has had since the late 80's. He recently moved them into his living room and they sound very nice there. He is driving them with a Denon receiver and 6 disk CD changer he bought in 1990 or 91.

I just got a set of the Polk montor 10's and must say that they still blow some of the good speakers today out of the water.

I have a pair in my office at work that I listen to everyday. I cross them over at 100 Hz with a VTF-1 in maximum output mode. I have an X-Fi Fatal1ty soundcard going to a Sonic Impact T Amp with a SMPS (switched mode power supply) powering the amp. The speakers are very detailed with a wide soundstage. I love the midrange and especially like how vocals are rendered so beautifully.
