MBM-12 reccommedations to avoid localization

So, I just placed the order for an MBM-12 to pair up with a Rythmik 12" sub in a room that's about 1,400 sq/ft. I got to thinking after I placed my order...

As I understand it, the MBM-12 is designed to cover the 50 - 150 Hz spectrum and nearfield placement is typically recommended. So, what I am wondering now is how does one avoid localization of with the MBM which is typical in nearfiled placements, particularly at 80Hz and up?

Hi elee,

When using the MBM in the nearfield position, we recommend using a crossover frequency no higher than ~ 80Hz. When used in between the main speakers and/or in pairs, then one could potentially use a higher crossover frequency.
