Hello,

I am trying to auto-tune the Yamaha receiver with my VTF-1, and i always get a "W-3: Level" warning for the sub-woofer, no matter what my sub loudness setting is.

My fronts are Polk RTi A3 ... no other speakers attached.

Any clues on how to troubleshoot this? Is there a better way to tune the system rather than rely on the ears?

What's the "W-3 level" warning? Sub too loud?

P.S. Cacimar is correct, a good SPL meter is your best friend when dealing with subs.
