losing sound with 15h laying sideways on carpet?

Ive been reading on the avs forum about how you dont want a sub directly on the floor. because my screen for my projector sits so close to the floor, i have to lay the 15h on its side, no big deal. am i losing sound or any negative properties with it laying on its side on carpet that is on top of OSB, Platton, then concrete (its a basement)?

Hi Stegen,

I don't think that this should pose any problems at all, particular for low frequency transducers. We've had quite a few customers who have used the VTF-15H on it's side on a soft surface with good results.
