Old VTF-2 VS MK-2

I have an old VTF-2. The old style. Im wondering if their are any improvements or tweaks with the new MK-2.

Im considering upgrading, mainly because I like the aesthics of the new one. But if their are performance benefits it'd make it even sweeter.

The new one has a little more power, but it would be hard to tell the diff in actual volume. It may sound just a bit less taxed at higher volumes though. The new one also has a rubber surround and poly cotton spider - for increased longevity.

You could go for the STF-3 for not much more, or even the VTF-3. After all, why not move up instead of sideways? :D
