I am considering puchasing the VT-12 Speaker System but have a few questions :

1. Is the system suitable for listening to music?
2. I have read the reviews of the product (Home Theater/March 2004 & Home
Theater and High Fidelity/December 2003) they mention a VT-10 package
and a smaller center speaker along with a "Ventriloquist" setup for the rear
channels. Are these available?
3. Lastly, I have the choice between two rooms for this system:
A. rectangular room 15 feet long x 12 wide (8' Ceiling)
B. rectangular sunken room 24' long x 14'wide (18' Cathedral Ceiling)

Would the VT-12 be adequate?

1) Yes. Steve Guttenburg, in his CNET review, said:

"The VT-12's richly balanced musicality is ahead of every other affordable mini package we've heard. "

2) This is not available yet, and it looks like it wont come this year :( We just couldn't get used to the idea of having a big box in the rear.

3) Room B would be adequate if you fired the Ventrilouquists across the 14' length.

Room A is a square, and the old-wives tales about room acoustics advises against square rooms.
