Movie reviewer's at blu-ray.com said that The Incredible Hulk has one of the best, if not the best, soundtrack of any movie to date...

WOW!!!!
What a soundtrack!!!!
I love it. Clean sounds, detailed ambience, powerful LFE, excellent voices...WOW!
Definately one of the best I have ever heard. This comes in par with U-571 in blu-ray and transformers!!!

I must say that Ron has the strength of Hulk to be able to pick up those ULS-15's and move them around so easily by himself :D

Caci, when you come out to So Cal to visit us, definitely make some time to hear Ron's setup. I can assure you that you will be blown away by the bass output and quality. I felt like the whole room was going to be broken apart when listening to WOTW at reference level on the ULS's :D The sound quality is probably even better now than when I was there earlier, because of the benefits of the sealed MBM's in his setup in terms of more seamless integration and lack of organ pipe resonance.

Say guys, I just watched my blu-ray of Hulk 2008 today after calibrating my sub with Audyssey multi on my Integra Dtr7.8. Is it just me or does it seem as though Audyssey sets the bass too low? I noticed LFE in the movie but not to the extent you guys seemed to enjoy, and I know it was there. I'm told that I'm just not used to the blending of bass that Audyssey brings but I rather like calibrating with the Radio SPL to 75db on speakers & say 78 to 80 db on the sub. If I change the trim level of the sub manually will that negate the eq-ing and other settings Audyssey does? When Hulk SMASH! through the rooftoop I want it to feel like it's my bedroom floor.:D he's green:p

one question how far from reference level do you listen?

Good to hear from you a3plew. I thought maybe that was the problem so I cranked up the volume. My Integra Dtr 7.8 is pretty hefty it's supposed to be 130 watts*7 channels but even upon turning the volume up to say -15db on my master volume knob seemed to improve all the effects the bass just didn't move me (stand out) like I would like. I've read people writing about walls shaking and what not, I can get that but I'd have to manipulate my trim levels manually above the Audyssey settings running the sub 3-5 db or more "hot". Thanks for the reply, Jerry. P.s. any furher input would be appreciated.:)
