Hi,
Due to my room I really need in-ceiling speakers for the surround speakers. I'm thinking of getting some HB1-Mk2 for the L/R and the HC-1Mk2 for the center. So are there and in ceiling speakers that anyone would recommend as a reasonable match to these. I realise that going in ceiling isn't ideal.
Thanks

Fortunately surround-speakers aren't quite as critical to match up as are your front three speakers. If you really need to get in-ceiling ones Klipsch has many models that are very efficient.
Personally I'd recommend to leave your front three speakers as your complete setup. I never thought sound coming from above my head sounded realistic at all.

Well it is if you're watching a movie about a plane crashing into your house. :D

Thanks for the replies.
The speakers wouldn't be directly above my head they would be a few feet behind. It is just that with young children I don't want to put speakers on stands that they can reach and don't have a wall in the right area.
With the front speakers I was going to place them behind an acoustically transparent projector screen.

Hi Dan,
Take a look at these:
http://www.oemsystems.com/preference.html
I recently visited a home theater that used the K-8LCRS and was very surprised with their performance. They are mounted at a 15 deg. angle so you'll want to play around with exact placement and direction before you cut them in. Also, They crossover lower than the HB-1s so you'd have to watch that when setting up your AVR
Hope this helps,
Ken
