I've been on the fence between the MFW-15, eD A5 and a Hsu sub for so long..... Things at AV123 don't seem so well and the numerous amp issues they're having make me even more worried.
My problem is with the dimensions of the 3.3. I have a space about 22"W x 24"D and 30-35 in height. The 3.3 is around 25"D so it won't fit and even if I could squeeze it in the ports would be up against the wall which won't work so well. Can the 3.3 be laid down on it's front so the ports face up? I don't think that will affect the sound, but am not sure.
Thanks!

That would not effect anything "so its fine".
I've previously used my VTF3 laying on its side (in my small room) due to a lack of port distance to the walls

This sounds like you would have the driver facing the floor. That's the only way I know of where the ports would be facing up.
On its front is one thing, on its side is something else. With the sub on its side the ports would still be facing to the rear.

Hey jerrod,
Absolutely, you can place the VTF-3 MK3 on it's front face, so that the effective dimensions become 25"x17"x21.5" (HxWxD). The driver will still be side-firing, while the ports fire upward. Sound quality should not be affected!

Pete,
Thanks, that's what I was thinking.
