Sub decoupler question

I just ordered the STF-2 and can't wait to get it set up. I have hardwood floors and was considering the Subdude decoupler. Would this work with this sub? How would the spikes interract with the subdude? Is there a better solution? Thanks all.

I would absolutely either DIY yourself one, or get a Subdude. You can put furniture skid pads or coins under the spikes if you're worried about damaging it.
