This is the deal. I have a 12' long and 10' wide room. The ONLY place I could hang the TV on the long side wall. The center of the TV is about five feet high, and centered in the middle of that wall. My ear/eye level is about 3-1/2 feet high. I do not have room for floorstand speakers,so I was going to mount the 5 "Performance 1" speakers in all four corners, plus the 6th rear channel in the middle up over me. sadly, I have to sit back against the wall.
The Sub will probably go in the front left corner, and the center will sit on top of the credenza (under the TV) which is about eye/ear level.
I know this is NOT the ideal positioning of the satellites, but either I do this, or bring down the front right/left speakers and keep the rears on top, I don't want them in my ears.
Would the surround sound be terrible? Thanks for any help.
