Time to add a sub and I am looking at get a HSU to add to my setup. I have the following setup now:
2x Infinity Beta-50
Center Infinity Beta-360
2x Infinity Beta-ES250 surrounds
Which sub is going to be the best match for this setup? My use is 40% music and the rest HT/gaming.
Also, any discounts upcoming for one of these subs?:)

Hi sans,
What are your room dimensions (HxWxD)? Does your room open to any other areas of the house, and if so, what are the dimensions of those areas?
Thanks
Sincerely,

Hi Pete,
The room is about 14' wide x 20' deep and has high ceilings (about 10-15').
Thanks,

Thanks Santhosh. I'd say that, if budget is flexible enough, then go for the VTF-3 MK3. However, if you have very strict budget and/or enclosure size constraints, then VTF-2 MK3 is also extremely good.

Thanks. Do you have any insight on when your next discounts are? I just dont want to buy one and have the price drop in the next month :)
Also, do you know how these subs pair with the Beta-50s for music?

I'm not really sure when it will go back on sale, but probably not for a while.
Our VTF subs should match well with almost any type of main speaker...

hello sans,
I have the exact same speakers as you do. I had dual 3.3 turbos with dual mbm-12s and they worked great with my infinity betas.

Thanks Bori.
Also, how would the VTF-1 compare with the 2.3?

The VTF-2 MK3 will play louder and deeper than the VTF-1, but the sound quality is pretty similar between the two up to the respective limits of the VTF-1. Both have the same feature set, but the VTF-1 does have notable advantages in terms of smaller size and lower cost.

Go with the 3.3. I've had mine for several weeks now and its outstanding.
My room is about the same size as yours and is playing alongside a Monitor Audio Silver Series setup.
You won't be sorry.
