I read the manual for the ULS-15 wireless connection setup, but I was unable to find the answer to my question. The receiver that I purchased, a 2011 Pioneer VSX-1121, has two subwoofer outs on the back (picture found here (http://goo.gl/dxHqx)), however it is only quoted as a 7.1 system (not 7.2, which is a separate puzzling question). The setup for the wireless subwoofer connection on the ULS-15 says to connect the single subwoofer "out" to the dual right/left "in" connections on the wireless transmitter by way of an RCA splitter. What it does not discuss is my scenario in which I have two subwoofer out connections on my receiver. Should I still split one of the two connections to the wireless transmitter, or should I connect both subwoofer outs on the receiver to the right/left inputs of the wireless transmitter? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

While there are two sub connections, the signal is the same on each connection (i.e. an internal Y-splitter). Bass management on AVR's routes the low frequency signals from all speakers set to "small" to a single sub channel. There is no such thing as "stereo bass". So, connect a single cable from either sub output to the ULS-15 wireless transmitter. There is no need, AFAIK, to use a Y-splitter on the wireless transmitter. Pete may have additional thoughts on this.

In theory, you don't need to connect with a Y splitter to both inputs on the wireless transmitter. However, we recommend using the y-splitter with the wireless transmitter becuase that gives a comparable level of gain compared to feeding one input using the wired connection. In other words, the wireless connection has 6 db less gain than the wired connection, so to compensate we recommend using the Y-splitter only with the wireless connection.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
