I don't get too many replies on this site, but I am hoping someone could shed some light.
I purchased the VT-12 (6.1) Performance Speaker package awhile ago, and am getting closer to wiring the speakers.

On the VT254 Front Left/Right mains there are two posts. (POS.and NEG.)

With my big fingers it's really difficult to wrap around the 1/2" twisted wire to the bottom of each loosened post to tighten them up.

Am I supposed to remove the post/terminal metal plate,or using banana clips be easier? If so, what mm?

Then the other big question on the Rear-Center VT251...This has four posts, 2 Pos.,and 2 Neg.

How does one easily bi-wire the two Pos, and two neg Posts,if it gets too tight to wire undernesath the tightning screw, and how would you use banana clips for all four posts when using a 6.1 setup, with the rear-channel and it's own direct wiring to the AVR's (Receiver) Surround-Back(Left)...

The Yamaha RX-V665 only has Rears, fronts,Center, and Surround Backs, and no Center-Rear connectors,so I'm guessing to use the Surround back-left.

If using the BANANA CLIPS, what mm and what type of solder would I use?

Stupid question: The black stripe on one of the speaker wire is the NEGATIVE, Right? I just wanted to be sure.....

The negative can be any cable color that you choose...Regularly the one you said is used...Just make sure you use it for equal purposes on both ends.
The left and right front speakers have to be connected to the center ventriloquist speaker, from there you will go to the receiver then following the center channel labels.
In the manual you have the drawing, I think, if not check the manual from the webpage.

Also, The 5.1 setup is a very good option too, there are very very very few movies that have 6.1 sound.
