Just a follow up to my post. I contacted HSU Tech support and I'll be getting a new amp for my sub. Should be up and rock'n the walls by the weekend. :D

Welcome the the HSU owners club. I used an RCA cable from my AVR sub line out to the line in on the Sub marked left/sub in. Download the manual and take a quick look. It's on page 4.
