My dual 15Hs are set even lower than 9 o'clock and my AVR sets the channel to -1. The gain is pretty sensitive. ;)

I'm big on using the SMS-1 in conjunction with REW due to SMS-1 only being 1/3 octave in their graphs. It's far more accurate using both. Depends on how fussy you are.

I've never used the antimode.
