Yep the supplied disc with SSS No.3 will shake the house or it did mine so it is more than capable of playing sub 20Hz signals with authority.

I would say that I leave mine 2 ports open EQ2 and Q=.3 for 95% and for certain electronic and classical 1port open EQ1 and Q=.7 but rarely.
