Try an electronic crossover

I have two ULS-15s and HB-1 Mk.2s that I run in stereo. Up to now I used the crossover in the ULS-15s and let the HB-1s shift for themselves. However, I don't have any room treatment at all and a...

The front is where the speakers are. That end is 9hx15w

The rear is 10hx16w. I built the room so it would expand and, I hoped, reduce the effect of room peaks and nodes.

The front and back walls...

Hope springs eternal. Guess I'll have to work it out for myself. I have a room null near 30Hz and I should probably lower everything else rather than try to push it up. I've managed to even...

ULS-15 volume settings

Yes, I could test this to figure it out for myself but I am hoping somebody has already done it. The volume control has markings and it is suggested to start at 11 o'clock. That's actually pretty...

Thanks. I know the room is doing a lot but don't know how much. That's why I thought 1' might eliminate it. However, I'm not sure the room can explain the offsetting peak and dip at just over...

Actually, that dip from 200-350 would probably be the response you would expect from the fall-off in the HB-1 and ULS-15s in that range.

I had some time today so I did some close measurements. I used 1' since I didn't know what I should use. The results were strange.

I forgot. The room is 9.5'Hx15.5'W at the speakers and 10.5'x16.5' at the other end. It is about 25.5' long. There is a serious room-related dip around 30Hz. The 200Hz peak doesn't seem to be...

UL-15 clicking in right channel

This only occurs at fairly high volume and it isn't low frequency. It also is only in the right channel. I don't know if it a mechanical or electronic sound. Any ideas on how I can narrow it down?

Where to put the ULS-15s
