Alright, that was easier than I thought... the washer on the back of the Q-control knob was rattling against the enclosure. Tightened the nut, and all gone. Thanks Kevin!

Metallic rattle from back of VTF-15H MK2 sub

It's been on/off for about a year. I thought it's because I have a few items on top of the sub, so I'd occasionally re-arrange them. Finally found a scene that consistently produces it and kept...

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'll measure out the VTF-15H, and see how it'll look.

One more question, do you recommend putting the volume at 9 o'clock regardless of Auddessey?

I listened to music at a moderate volume (and watched TV for a couple of...

Position Z is nearly perfect. I feel it a little bit in my other ear now, I may move it another foot or two and it should be fine.

I did have another question: should I set the crossover in the sub...

Subwoofer placement (ear pressure)

I purchased a VTF2 MK4, and have been playing around with placement.

I ran audessey with one port open, Q = 0.7, EQ = 1. Afterwards, I closed the port, set Q = 0.3 and EQ = 1. After audessey, the...
