When will HSU Research have a presence on YouTube?
Are there any plans for HSU Research to have an official presence on Youtube?
While I realize that subwoofers are best and truly appreciated in person, I believe many of your potential customers (like me!) and possibly an untapped market are available to really showcase your merchandise. While your website and product guides provide a lot of info, there is nothing that can replace (other than a retail outlet to go and demo your products) getting a chance to SEE your subs/speakers in action. As a fan of watching Youtube videos for a lot of my research on other goods that I buy, I believe HSU Research has an excellent opportunity here. Here are some topics I would love to see covered by your team, possibly even Dr. Hsu himself - currently there is only 1 video of Dr. Hsu on Youtube, we want more!! Suggested Topics: 1. Overview of your subwoofer & speaker offerings 2. Unboxing videos - these are really good at helping customers see what they will get, and what's in the box! 3. Showcase some sample home theatre setups and a walkthrough of setting up a few HSU systems (ie, 3.1, 5.1, 7.1) 4. Owners of HSU systems are already uploading videos, but there is not much recent content There are many ways that Youtube will help to expand the HSU landscape, hopefully this friendly suggestion becomes a reality. Embrace Social Media!!! Thank you, Minesh |

I agree, the visual aspect of anything can help to sell it, and in some ways video gives you a greater sense of the appearance of things than a simple photo. As far as I know none of the other subwoofer manufacturers have a youtube channel, so Hsu would get a leg up on them if it pursued that route. I don't even think it would cost very much depending on the level of production the video is made.

Hi Minesh,
We appreciate the idea! We have had a few requests for that in the past. I think I can use this to really jump start my career as a thespian. ![]() I don't know anyone here is good with a camera, but we'll look into it and see if we can get some instructional videos going for you wonderful folks. Sincerely, Kevin |
