Need help w/ original VTF-2 issues...again

Hum coming from sub even without cable. Slight side pressure on the white (L) terminal makes the hum go away. Release pressure and hum returns. Ground cheater is being used.

This amp was repaired earlier this year and I really don't want to send it in again. In hindsight, I should have at least bought a new amp, maybe a new sub. But before I spend any more money I would like to get any additional technical support or tips on what may be going on here. Send me a PM if we need to keep this off the public forum.
