STF-2 damaged during move? What should I do?
I have had an STF-2 for about 3 years now. Never any problems. I recently moved, and when I unpacked the sub at the new location (packaged in manufacturer box like I did with all my electronics) it would not power on. I pulled out the fuse and it looked blown so I got some new fuses from Radioshack and they seem to be blowing every time.
There was no visible damage to the package, so I am not sure exactly how the sub could have gone through that much trauma (no more so than the shipping process when you buy one new - in the same box). None of my other electronics (including lots of fragile/sensitive hard drive based ones) were damaged in this same move. Any ideas what the problem is? (a short somewhere since the fuses keep blowing?) Any ideas what I should do next? Thanks! |
