Mixing MKI and MKII MBMS?

I'm considering adding a second MBM12 to my setup. I currently have one MKI. Will I run into any variation between the two (if so I will sell the MKI and purchase two MKII) or should I just run the MKII ported?

I would get one MK2 and run it ported.

Does the MKI and MKII use the same driver?

Yes. If you like, you can also purchase the MK2 amplifier that will then make your MK1 match the MK2 (no driver change).
