AVR as prepro with amp?

I've been using hsu 5.1 package with a vtf 15 subwoofer for a lot of years

Being cooped up all these weeks I've always thought about adding a high quality multi channel amp and using the AVR pre out 5 channel amplifier

Do you think there would be noticeable increase in audible difference?

Hi there,

It really depends on the features the system has in place, such as EQ, autocorrection, etc. In our experience going to various receivers provided little to no difference in terms of the actual amp. Other customers may have a different experience though.
